Start Your Journey and Live Your Best Life!

You are finally going to start your journey of growth and transformation. You have probably thought about it for a while.

Live with purpose, passion, and joy. Find balance in your mind, body, and soul. Heal yourself and those around you.

Great! How do you do that?

Only you can answer those questions, but we can help you take those first steps on your journey!

In our post, 10 Things to Know Before You Start Your Journey, we go through a few things so you will be better prepared and more likely to be successful and consistent.

With so many options and avenues for change, it’s hard to know what to focus on first.

It might feel lonely, and some people around you may not be supportive. Try not to let them discourage you!

As you cultivate a higher frequency and maintain a higher vibration, you will be less affected by others and will hear your own voice more clearly.

Set aside some quiet time alone and truly reflect on what you want to change about your life.

We discuss this more in our article, Find clarity on your path.

Be completely honest and accountable.

Where do you need to let go of what isn’t for your highest good?

What forgotten parts of yourself do you need to welcome back in?

Don’t feel down if you are so far from your truth that it seems hopeless.

I have been there, I promise you can live a life that feels authentically you.

Make a list of your future goals, and the first 6-10 tasks that will bring you closer to achieving those goals.

Make sure your tasks are balanced: mind, body, and soul. Start with one or two tasks from each category because they will all support each other, making it easier than if you just focus on one at a time.

For example:
Meditation practice – soul
Journal practice – mind
Yoga practice – body
Starting a creative business – mind
Noticing and changing toxic behaviors – soul
Cutting sugar from your diet – body
Opening your heart/learning to trust – soul
Quieting the negative stories you tell yourself – mind
Doing a detox – body

Rank them in order of priority on your path.

Write out a new daily routine to incorporate these new tasks with specific times.

Start on a Monday and do one thing at a time. If they are smaller things you can combine them.

For example, a really great place to start is beginning your daily meditation practice. It could pair with journaling right after meditation, and drinking more water.

Do these for at least two to three weeks or until it feels like a completely natural part of your day.

In my opinion the most important part of manifesting anything is getting your energy to align with what you want.

This is why meditation and journaling are so important when you start your journey. We explain how to start a personalized meditation practice to support your journey in more detail here.

You should really incorporate at least 15 minutes a day into your routine for meditation and reflection.

There are a lot of really great paid meditations out there, but I suggest going on YouTube at first and typing in “meditations for…” whatever you need to work on that day. In this case, “manifestation”. Or try this one here that I picked out for you.

It will help you visualize yourself living and being that new you, as well as embody the feeling of being the new you. If you are feeling excited and motivated most of the time, then you are on the right track.

Maybe next you tackle something a bit more challenging. Like starting to eat a cleaner diet, or quitting smoking.

Do this one by itself while continuing your meditation and journal, and keeping your energy aligned with your goals.

Update your daily routine to incorporate each new goal.

Or if you are quitting something like smoking, find ways to pass that time, and keep your mind occupied.

Set yourself up for success! Food prep and meal planning, for example, or getting all the junk food out of the house.

When quitting an addiction, you want to lean on your meditation practice to keep your emotions and energy up.

You will find reasons to give up. You may have had a bad day or feel like celebrating something. The excuses are endless. You have to be smarter than your self-sabotage!

Keep checking in on your goals and tasks. Are they still leading you in the right direction, or have you found a slightly better route on your journey?

You can revise your list whenever you want, ensuring that it originates from your intuition rather than an external influence.

Remember that change takes time. If we slip up, we notice it and get back on track as soon as possible.

Consistency is the key to change.

You can do this!
